A Sterling Silver altar chalice and paten, having a plain round tapering cup with gold-gilt interior, a round column with a middle baluster and bead border, and a spreading hexagonal pedestal foot, together with a plain round paten with hand-engraved cross. The chalice made by Frederick Osborne of London in 1931, and the paten by Jones and Willis of London in 1908. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver chalice & paten are height 15 cms (6 inches), diameter of cup 10 cms (4 inches), diameter of paten 13.5 cms (5.3 inches), and it weighs a total of 455g (14.7 troy ounces). |
