A Sterling Silver and inlaid tortoise-shell dressing table set with six pieces, consisting of a hand-mirror with original bevelled mirror, two clothes brushes, two hair brushes, all with original bristles, and a comb, all in original satin-lined presentation box. Made by Henry Matthews of Birmingham in 1924. The dimensions of this fine hand-made sterling silver and tortoiseshell dressing table service are length of mirror 27 cms (10.5 inches), and dimensions of box are length 37 cms (14.5 inches), width 19 cms (7.5 inches), and height 8.5 cms (3.3 inches). Please note that there is slight damage to the satin hinges.
