A Sterling Silver Arts and Crafts style dish, having an oval body with hand-hammered decoration, an applied rope-twist border, with hand-chased floral and scroll work at either ends, and all sitting on a collet foot. Made by Henry Charles Hall (from the Swansea School of Crafts) of Sheffield in 1932. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver table dish are length 31 cms (12.25 inches), width 21 cms (8.25 inches), height 4 cms (1.5 inches), and it weighs approx. 464g (15 troy ounces). |
