Edwardian sterling silver pair of dessert stands, made by Walker & Hall of Sheffield in 1910. Height 15.5 cms.

 A very pretty Antique Victorian Sterling Silver compote or dessert stand with applied cast grape vine work, and sitting on a pedestal foot with hand-chased anthemion leaves, together with a hand-cut crystal bowl. Made by the Barnard Brothers of London in 1856. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver and crystal dessert or compote stand are height 28 cms (11 inches), diameter of bowl 25.5 cms (10 inches), and it weighs approx. 1,273g (41 troy ounces).
