A very handsome Antique Georgian Old Sheffield plated decanter stand, having three hand-cut crystal decanters with original stoppers, sitting inside a carrying frame with a cast anthemion leaf loop handle attached to a hand-chased reeded gallery, which in-turn is attached to a base with shell and gadroon border, and all sitting on three cast scroll feet. Made by Matthew Boulton of Birmingham in ca. 1810. The dimensions of this fine hand-made Old Sheffield plated decanter stand are height 28 cms (11 inches), and width at base 25.5 cms (10 inches).
