A stylish pair of Sterling Silver Art Deco sauce boats, having plain half-moon style bodies, scroll side-handles with thumb-pieces, square cross-section spouts, and sitting on a rectangular pedestal feet, all in their original cream satin and velvet-lined presentation box. Made by the Adie Brothers of Birmingham in 1937. The dimensions of this fine hand-made pair of silver sauce boats are length 16.5 cms (6.5 inches), height 7.5 cms (3 inches), width 7 cms (2.75 inches), and with a total weight of approx. 312g (10 troy ounces). Please note that the lids satin retaining strap is broken. |
