A Sterling Silver George II style large sauce or gravy boat, having a plain baluster, with a Chippendale border, a cast flying scroll handle, and sitting on three cast hoof feet with shell shoulders. Made by Edward Barnard of London in 1930. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver sauce boat are length 20 cms (8 inches), width 9.5 cms (3.75 inches), height 11.5 cms (4.5 inches), and it weighs approx. 340g (11 troy ounces).
