An Antique Georgian Sterling Silver pair of large and heavy George III sauce or gravy boats, having plain bellied bodies, with applied gadroon borders, cast scroll handles with anthemion leaf thumb-pieces, and sitting on three cast hoof feet with shell shoulders. Made by Thomas Wallis I of London in 1773. The dimensions of these fine hand-made antique silver gravy or sauce boats are length 18.5 cms (7.25 inches), width 10 cms (4 inches), height 14 cms (5.5 inches), and they weigh a total of 821g (26.5 troy ounces). Please note that these items are crested.
