A very handsome Art Deco Sterling Silver cream jug, having a plain panelled rectangular body, a sparrow-beak spout, a cast angular handle, an applied top border with hand-engraved reeding and Deco style decals, and sitting on a collet foot. Made by Emile Viner of Sheffield in 1940. The dimensions of this fine hand-made Art Deco silver cream jug are height 7 cms (2.75 inches), length 15.5 cms (6 inches), width 7.5 cms (3 inches), and it weighs approx. 198g (6.4 troy ounces).
