A very pretty Antique late Georgian Sterling Silver large cream jug, having a lobed round body with hand-chased melon fluting, a scroll top border, a scroll handle with thumb-piece, a gold-gilt interior, and all sitting on a matching pedestal foot. Made by the Barnard Brothers of London in 1829. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver cream jug are height 12 cms (4.75 inches), length 16 cms (6.25 inches), and it weighs approx. 233g (7.5 troy ounces). |
