A very handsome Sterling Silver Art Deco six piece condiment service, having octagonal straight-sided bodies, with original blue-glass liners, pull-off lids on the peppers, hinged lids on the mustards, and all in their original dark blue velvet and cream satin-lined presentation box. Consisting of two mustard pots, two pepper pots, two salt cellars, and four condiment spoons. Made by Mappin and Webb of Birmingham in 1928/29. The dimensions of this fine hand-made sterling silver condiment service are height of peppers 7 cms (2.75 inches), length of mustard 6.5 cms (2.5 inches), and a total weight of approx. 190g (6.1 troy ounces). Please note that the silver condiment spoons are made by the Adie Brothers of Birmingham in 1929.
