A Sterling Silver three-piece condiment set, in a very plain round Georgian style with applied reeded borders, and consisting of a pepper pot, open salt cellar, and covered mustard pot, the latter two items with original blue glass liners, and all in their original cream satin and black velvet-lined presentation box. Made by J. B Chatterley & Sons Ltd., of Birmingham in 1940. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver condiment service are height of pepper pot 5.5 cms (2.25 inches), length of mustard pot 6.5 cms (2.5 inches), and the total weight is approx. 93g (3 troy ounces).
