An Antique Victorian Sterling Silver three-piece travelling communion set consisting of chalice, paten, and wine ewer (with pull-off lid and cork seal), having plain round baluster bodies, the chalice with a gold-gilt interior, all having engraved christograms and in their original leather upright presentation box with dark blue velvet and satin-lined interior. Made by Martin & Hall of Sheffield between 1888 to 1890. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver travelling communion set are height of ewer 11 cms (4.25 inches), diameter of paten 8 cms (3.25 inches), and with a total weight of approx. 155g (5 troy ounces).
