An Antique Sterling Silver four-piece travelling communion set consisting of chalice, paten, wine flagon, and pyx box. In a very plain round style, having a gold-gilt interior to the chalice, a pull-off lid with cork on the flagon, and a pull-off lid for the pyx box. All the pieces sit in their original blue velvet-lined presentation box which has an applied inscription attached to the top of the lid. Made by Martin Hall & Co., of Sheffield in 1912. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver travelling communion set are height of flagon 13 cms (5 inches), diameter of paten 9 cms (3.5 inches), and with a total weight of approx. 254g (8.2 troy ounces).
