An Antique Victorian Sterling Silver small travelling communion chalice and paten, the chalice having a plain round cup with gold-gilt interior, a central cast baluster, and sitting on a hexafoil pedestal foot. The paten having a plain round body with hand-chased hexafoil ground and an applied rim. Made by the Barnard Brothers of London in 1875 (chalice) and 1878 (paten). The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver travelling communion set are height of chalice 9 cms (3.5 inches), diameter of paten 7.5 cms (3 inches), with a total weight of approx. 85g (2.7 troy ounces). Please note that both the chalice and paten are engraved with a Christogram.
