An Antique Victorian Sterling Silver five-piece travelling communion set consisting of a chalice, paten, wine ewer, pyx or wafer box, and anointing spoon, in original purple velvet and satin-lined presentation box. Made by Charles Boyton of London in 1884, the wafer or pyx box is by Frederick Wray in 1908, and the spoon by David Fullerton in 1928. The dimensions if this fine hand-made antique silver travelling communion set are height of chalice 10 cms (4 inches), diameter of paten 7.5 cms (3 inches), and the total weight of weighable silver is approx. 127g (4 troy ounces). Please note that the top of the presentation box has been embossed with an inscription. |
