An Antique Victorian Sterling Silver small travelling communion chalice and paten, the chalice having a plain round cup with gold-gilt interior, a twisted stem and central baluster, and sitting on a round pedestal foot with a hand-engraved band of geometrical work. The paten having a plain round body with a hand-chased ground. All in their original travelling presentation box with dark blue velvet-lined interior. Made by Matthew William White of London in 1888. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver travelling communion set are height of chalice 7.5 cms (3 inches), diameter of paten 6.5 cms (2.5 inches), with a total weight of approx. 56g (1.8 troy ounces). Please note that both the chalice and paten are engraved with a Christogram.
