An Antique Georgian (William IV) Sterling Silver four-piece travelling communion set consisting of chalice, paten, water, and wine bottle. The chalice having a plain round bellied body, a gold-gilt interior, and sitting on a round pedestal foot. The paten having a round body with an applied reeded border, and sitting on a collet foot. The wine and water bottles having plain round screw-off lids, cork seals, and hand-cut crystal bodies. All sitting in their original dark blue satin and velvet-lined presentation box. The chalice & paten were made in London in 1835, whilst the bottles are matching and made in London in ca. 1920s. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver travelling communion set are height of chalice 8 cms (3.25 inches), diameter of paten 6.5 cms (2.5 inches), and with a total weight of approx. 100g (3.2 troy ounces). Please note that the chalice & paten are engraved with a Christogram.
