A rare Antique Georgian (William IV) Sterling Silver collapsible travelling communion set in the shape of a bell, consisting of a chalice, paten, and silver bottle with stopper. The chalice having a round body with reeded borders, and a gold-gilt interior. The bottle having the same style, but slightly smaller to fit inside the goblet when collapsed, and a pull-off stopper with loop handle. The paten having a round body with a reeded border, and sitting on a collet foot. All three are engraved with a Christogram. Made by Reily and Storer of London in 1830. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver travelling communion set are height (when attached together) 7.5 cms (3 inches), diameter of paten 6.5 cms (2.5 inches), and with a total weight of approx. 192g (6.2 troy ounces).
