A rare Sterling Silver three-piece travelling communion set consisting of a hand-hammered chalice, pyx box with lid, and glass wine holder with stopper, all in their original silver cylindrical hinged travelling box with a hand-chased christogram. Made by Frederick Osborne & Co., of London in 1930. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver travelling communion set are length of box 9.5 cms (3.75 inches), and diameter 4.5 cms (1.75 inches), and with a total weight of approx. 250g (8 troy ounces). Please note that it is very unusual to find an original pyx box in a travelling communion set.
