An Antique Victorian sterling silver three-piece travelling communion set consisting of chalice, paten, and wine bottle. The chalice having a round body with reeded borders, a gold-gilt interior, and sitting on a pedestal foot. The paten having a round body with a reeded border, and sitting on a collet foot. The wine bottle having a plain round screw-off lid, an original glass stopper, and the glass body with hand-cut panelled decoration. All three are engraved with a Christogram, and all sit in their original blue velvet-lined presentation box. Made by Charles Rawlings & William Summers of London in 1860. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver travelling communion set are height of chalice 8 cms (3.25 inches), diameter of paten 6.8 cms (2.6 inches), and with a total weight of approx. 82g (2.6 troy ounces).
