A Sterling Silver cigarette or cigar table box, having a plain rectangular body with nice rounded corners, a hinged lid having an applied thumb-piece, a gold-gilt interior to the lid, and a cedar wood-lined interior to the base, with a removable divider. Made by Alexander Clarke of London in 1925. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver table box are length 17.5 cms (7 inches), width 9 cms (3.5 inches), and height 5 cms (2 inches).
