A very handsome pair of Antique Georgian Sterling Silver chamber-sticks, having plain oval bodies, scroll handles with thumb-pieces, original removable dunce-cap extinguishers, original removable nozzles, and with applied reed-edged borders. Made by James Ellis and Co., of Sheffield in 1795. The dimensions of these fine hand-made antique silver chambersticks are length 17 cms (6.75 inches), width 13 cms (5 inches), height 10 cms (4 inches), and they weigh a total of approx. 580g (18.7 troy ounces).
