A very handsome, large, and complete seven-piece Antique Victorian Silver Plated and deer antler horn meat carving set with fish servers, consisting of two forks with working guards, two knives, one sharpening steel, one fish serving fork fork, and one fish knife with hand-engraved gingko and fern leaves, all with bone antler handles and silver ferrules with hand-chased fluting and floral decoration, all in their original maroon velvet and crimson silk lined presentation box. This beautiful original carving set was made in ca. 1895 with a design registration mark. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver and antler bone handled carving set are length of longest knife 39 cms (15.3 inches), and length of forks 29 cms (11.5 inches). |

Made by Jonathan Bell of Sheffield in 1869. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver and bone handled carving set are length of knife 41 cms (16 inches), length of fork 29 cms (11.5 inches), and length of steel 35 cms (13.75 inches). |

This fantastic original carving set was made by William Yates of Sheffield in 1899. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver and bone handled carving set are length of longest knife 37 cms (14.5 inches), and length of shortest fork 27 cms (10.5 inches). Please note that the exterior of the box is slightly damaged and the lid is warped, although it does close shut properly. |
