Antique Victorian sterling silver card case and aide de memoire, having a rectangular shaped body with hand-chased floral decoration, with thumb-piece and catch, and a hinged opening revealing an original interior lined with satin and having a revolving pencil with ivory marker card. Made by Henry Miller of Birmingham in 1900. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver case are length 10 cms (4 inches), width 8 cms (3 inches), and it weighs approx. 100g (3.2 troy ounces). |
