An elegant Antique Victorian Sterling Silver pair of butter shells, having traditional scallop shapes, and sitting on three cast ball feet, together with a pair of original butter knives in the Old English pattern, and all sitting in an original maroon satin and velvet-lined presentation box. This handsome pair of silver butter shells and knives were all made by the Atkin Brothers of Sheffield in 1900. The dimensions of this fine hand-made set of antique silver butter shells and knives are length 12 cms (4.75 inches), width 10 cms (4 inches), with a total weight of approx. 136g (4.4 troy ounces).
