An Antique Victorian Sterling Silver set of four butter shells, having traditional scallop shapes, and sitting on three cast shell feet, together with four original butter knives in the Albany pattern, and all sitting in an original purple satin and velvet-lined presentation box. All made by Frances Higgins of London in 1884. The dimensions of this fine hand-made set of antique silver butter shells are length 12 cms (4.75 inches), width 10 cms (4 inches), with a total weight of approx. 385g (12.4 troy ounces).
