Antique Victorian sterling silver large table bowl, having a round plain baluster body, with a band of hand-chased anthemion leaves below a gadroon rope-twist border, sitting on a pedestal foot with matching decoration. Made by Charles Stuart Harris of London in 1893. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver bowl are diameter at lip 23 cms (9 inches), height 18.5 cms (7.25 inches), and it weighs approx. 1,141g (36.8 troy ounces). |
