A very handsome Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver rocker blotter, having a very plain rectangular body with rounded corners, a leather covered rocker base, and a plain round handle that screws in to secure the rocker base and blotting paper to the upper body. Made by Henry Matthews of Birmingham in 1905. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver rocker blotter are length 12 cms (4.75 inches), height 6 cms (2.3 inches), and width 7.5 cms (3 inches)

Made by Wilmot Manufacturing Silversmiths of Birmingham in 1923. A handsome and unusual Sterling Silver Rocker Blotter, having a rectangular body with engine-turned decoration and plain chamfered borders, a plain round central handle, and a sprung steel plate held under tension that holds the blotting paper to the upper body. This beautiful silver rocker blotter was made by Turner and Simpson of Birmingham in 1956. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver rocker blotter are length 15 cms (6 inches), height 5 cms (2 inches), width 8.5 cms (3.25 inches), and it weighs approx. 150g (4.8 ozt).
