A very pretty Antique Victorian silver-plated and hand-cut crystal biscuit jar, having a hobnail and star cut body, a hinged lid with hand-engraved floral work and a cast leopards head finial, all sitting inside a galleried base with three cast caryatid figures attached to a central band and sitting on three cushion feet, all with bead-edge borders. Made by Henry Atkins of Sheffield in ca. 1880. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver plated and crystal biscuit box are height 21.5 cms (8.5 inches), and diameter of base 15 cms (6 inches).
