An Antique Victorian Silver Plated Chinoiserie style biscuit box, having a round body with straight sides and applied bead-edged borders, with very pretty hand-engraved flowers, reeds, birds, and butterfly work, a hinged domed lid with cast finial, and all sitting on a hand-pierced attached plate with four cast scroll feet. Made by the Atkin Brothers of Sheffield in ca. 1880. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver-plated biscuit box are height 18 cms (7 inches), and diameter at base 17.5 cms (7 inches).
