A very pretty Antique Victorian Silver Plated biscuit box, having a round body with straight sides and applied bead-edged borders, with very pretty hand-engraved bands of geometrical and floral work, a hinged flat lid with bone finial, and all sitting on an attached plate with four cast scroll and shell feet. Made by Elkington and Co., of Sheffield in ca. 1880. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver-plated biscuit box are height 16 cms (6.3 inches), and diameter at base 18 cms (7 inches).
