A very pretty Antique Georgian Sterling Silver basket, having an oval body with an applied reeded border, with an upper band of hand-engraved and hand-pierced floral work, a hinged and reeded swing handle, all sitting on a geometrically hand-pierced collet foot. Made by Thomas Harper I of London in 1796. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver basket are height 28 cms (11 inches), length 37 cms (14.5 inches), width 26 cms (10.25 inches), and it weighs approx. 792g (25.5 troy ounces).
