A very pretty Antique Victorian Sterling Silver basket, having an oval body with an applied gadroon border, all hand-pierced with floral and scroll decoration, a hinged swing handle, and all sitting on an oval stepped pedestal foot. Made by J.H. and H. Barraclough of London in 1899. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver basket are height 21 cms (8.25 inches), length 26.5 cms (10.5 inches), width 20 cms (8 inches), and it weighs approx. 548g (17.7 troy ounces).
