An Antique Edwardian Silver Plated Argyll, having a plain round body with tapering sides and applied reeded borders, a stepped pull-off lid with wooden finial, a scroll pouring spout, a wooden scroll handle, a separate side spout with hinged lid for adding hot water to the water jacket, and all sitting on a flat base. Made in ca. 1910. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver-plated Argyll are height 15 cms (6 inches), diameter at base 10 cms (4 inches), and length across spouts 15 cms (6 inches).

A very handsome Antique Victorian Sterling Silver gravy Argyll, having a plain round body with tapering sides and applied reeded borders, a domed hinged lid with wooden finial, a scroll pouring spout, a wooden handle that unscrews to reveal an opening for adding hot water to the water jacket, and all sitting on a flat base. Made D. and J. Welby of London in 1887. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver Argyll are height 15 cms (6 inches), diameter at base 8.5 cms (3.3 inches), length 12 cms (4.75 inches), and it weighs approx. 350g (11.3 troy ounces).

Made by Thomas Henry & Frederick Francis of London in 1861.
