A large and very handsome Sterling Silver Pyx box, having a plain round body with an applied reeded top border, a hinged lid with a hand-chased Cruciform  Christogram, a ring-handle and thumb-piece, and a gold-gilt interior. This elegant silver pyx box was made by A. R. Mowbray and Co. Ltd., of London in 1946. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver Pyx box are diameter 5 cms (2 inches), depth 1.5 cms (0.6 inches), and it weighs approx. 31g (1 troy ounce).

Made by Arthur Fenwick of Birmingham in 1900.
