A large and handsome pair of Antique Georgian Sterling Silver salt cellars, having plain round bodies, with gold-gilt interiors, applied shaped gadroon borders, and all sitting on three cast hoof feet with foliate shoulders. Made by Peter Taylor of London in 1750. The dimensions of these fine hand-made antique silver salt cellars are diameter 8 cms (3 inches), height 5 cms (2 inches), and they weigh a total of approx. 224g (7.2 troy ounces).
